Oberoi has a doctoral degree in philosophy from IGNOU’s School of Management Studies. She did master's in commerce from Himachal Pradesh University.

Life before politics

Before joining active politics, Oberoi worked as an assistant professor at Delhi University. She is also a lifetime member of Indian Commerce Association (ICA).
