Jury’s Choice Awards 

The News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2023 was a glamorous event, held in Mumbai on February 25. 

Industry bigwigs including Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Karan Johar, Vidya Balan, Manoj Bajpayee were seen in attendance. 

Top filmmakers Ramesh Sippy, Sriram Raghavan, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, actress Divya Dutta and News18’s Entertainment Editor Tavishi Paitandy were the jury.

Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah starrer Darlings was adjudged Best Film (Jury).

Best Actor (Jury) award was given to Rajkummar Rao for Monica, O My Darling.

Vidya Balan received Best Actress (Jury) for Jalsa.

Best Debut (Jury) award was given to Shantanu Maheshwari for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Babil Khan for Qala. 

Vasan Bala received Best Director (Jury) award for For Monica, O My Darling.

Bhumi Pednekar was honoured with Breakthrough Performance of the Year award for Badhaai Do.
